Blog: 52 Things I Love About Madrid

They say to write about what you know. I have lived in Spain on three separate occasions, twice in Madrid. 

I wrote a blog when I studied abroad in Granada entitled simply: Nicole in Spain. For subsequent experiences I tried direct email updates and posting on social media. Nearly two decades have passed and I have circled back to the blogsphere. 

For me, this is just for fun. To share the tidbits I've learned about a place I've come to love.  To challenge myself to post once each week for a year. 

I plan for topics to center around things to do, places to see, and food to try with dashes of history and cultural nuances, plus, of course, brief forays into vocabulary and linguistics. 

So, this could be a site for language learners seeking cultural knowledge, those who have visited the city and need a hit of nostalgia, someone looking to learn new words and phrases, or travelers interested in going some day.
